1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the EO Router platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance.
2. Service Description
EO Router is a unified API platform for searching, ordering, and receiving satellite Earth observation imagery from multiple providers. We act as a broker — imagery is sourced from third-party providers and subject to their respective licensing terms.
3. Accounts and API Keys
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. Do not share your API keys. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Credits and Payments
The platform uses a prepaid credit system. Credits are non-refundable once used for orders. Top-ups are processed via Stripe and subject to Stripe's terms. Prices are displayed in euros (€). Credits reserved for in-progress orders are released if the order fails.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use EO Router for any unlawful purpose. You must comply with all applicable export control laws, including ITAR restrictions on certain high-resolution imagery (e.g., Maxar WorldView-3/4 for non-US users). You may not attempt to circumvent rate limits, abuse the API, or reverse-engineer the platform.
6. Data Licensing
Satellite imagery ordered through EO Router is subject to the licensing terms of the originating provider. Free and open data (e.g., Sentinel, Landsat) follows the respective open data policies. Commercial imagery (e.g., Planet, Airbus, Maxar) is subject to the provider's commercial license. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the applicable license.
7. Rate Limits
API usage is subject to rate limits (200 requests/minute globally, with per-endpoint limits). Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary throttling. Persistent abuse may lead to account suspension.
8. Limitation of Liability
EO Router is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for imagery quality, provider availability, delivery delays, or data loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount of credits in your account at the time of the incident.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the platform, or fail to pay. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, unused credits are forfeited unless otherwise required by law.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
